Prestige Group advances hospitality-led commercial project on Sahar Road, Andheri East

Prestige Estates Projects Limited has moved forward with a hospitality-led integrated commercial development on Sahar Road in Andheri East, Mumbai. An Investment Agreement for the project was executed on 3 July 2026 with Advent Convention and Hotels International Limited, under which the two companies will develop the site as a 50:50 joint venture. The project, officially named Prestige Sahar Integrated Hospitality & Commercial, is currently listed as upcoming in the developer's project portfolio.
The scheme is planned on a site of 21,978 sq m, roughly 5.4 acres, with an estimated 1.50 million sq ft of leasable area and a projected gross development value of ₹4,500 crore. Rather than a residential offering, the development brings together hospitality, convention and commercial uses on one campus in the western suburbs of Mumbai.

Under the agreement, Prestige will invest ₹504 crore for a 50% stake in Advent Convention and Hotels International Limited. Location and connectivity
Sahar Road places the project within the Sahar airport precinct of Andheri East, a stretch that has seen steady commercial activity for over a decade. Sahar Elevated Access Road links the Western Express Highway corridor with Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport Terminal 2, giving the site a direct route to both the highway and the airport. Sahar Road station on Mumbai Metro Line 3, the Aqua Line, serves the area, and the full 33.5 km corridor became operational in October 2025. Andheri East is also close to the Andheri suburban railway station, one of the principal rail hubs in the western suburbs.
