Prestige Southern Star Phase 2, located off Bannerghatta Road in Begur and Akshayanagar, will begin pre-launch activities in February 2026, adding ₹1,500 crore to the developer's portfolio. The announcement forms part of Prestige Group's broader expansion roadmap for the fiscal year, which includes a combined project pipeline with a Gross Development Value of approximately ₹25,000 crore across multiple cities.

Project Scope and Configuration

The project spans 35 acres and features 1 to 4 BHK apartment options, with 14 towers containing up to 27 floors and offering 2,130 apartments. The development has received RERA approval under ID PR/210325/007603. Unit sizes range from 685 to 2,750 sq ft, with prices starting at ₹81.75 lakhs for 1 BHK units and extending to ₹3.5 crores for 4 BHK with maid's quarters.

Location and Connectivity

The project is located in Akshayanagar, next to DLF Newtown Apartments on Begur Road. The area is a top IT hub close to E-City and Bannerghatta. The location benefits from connectivity via Begur Road, NICE Road, and State Highway SH 87. Proximity to the Bommanahalli metro station enhances commute accessibility.

Amenities and Design

The project includes over 50 amenities, including a clubhouse, swimming pool, play area, and gym. More than 80% of the 35-acre layout is reserved for greenery, gardens, and amenities. Construction standards include a strong RCC frame with high-quality materials, concrete block walls, and PVC-insulated copper wiring with modular switches.
