HSBC Consolidates Bengaluru Operations with 1.2 Million Sq Ft Campus

HSBC has signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with Prestige Group for the development of 'Prestige JRC Signature Towers' – a new fully integrated ~1.2 million square feet campus located at Outer Ring Road in Bengaluru.

Pre-Lease Deal and 20-Year Commitment

Under the proposed 20-year arrangement, HSBC will occupy around 1.2 million sq ft across two office towers, reflecting sustained demand for premium office space in India's leading commercial markets. The transaction supports HSBC's long-term expansion plans in India and remains subject to the execution of definitive agreements and regulatory approvals.

Scale and Strategic Importance

Once completed, it will be one of the largest campuses in the country, reflecting the bank's long-term commitment to India. The new campus is intended to bring together colleagues currently based across multiple locations in Bengaluru, supporting greater collaboration and connectivity between teams. This consolidation addresses the operational complexity of running multiple smaller offices across the city.

Design and Sustainability Focus

The integrated campus on Bengaluru's Outer Ring Road will bring together HSBC employees from multiple locations and is designed with a focus on collaboration, sustainability and wellbeing. Sustainability and wellbeing have been central considerations in the campus design, which is targeting both LEED Platinum and WELL Platinum certification standards, reflecting HSBC's commitment to creating a people-focused and environmentally responsible workplace.

Project Timeline

The two towers are currently under construction and are scheduled for completion by October next year.
