Where Bengaluru Meets the World — A Convention and Hospitality Destination at Airport City
Price on Request
Prestige Convention & Hospitality Hub is a 1.5 million sqft integrated destination being developed by Prestige Group in partnership with Bengaluru Airport City Limited (BACL), announced on 11 June 2026. Anchored by a convention and exhibition centre designed to host international conferences, trade exhibitions, and large-scale cultural gatherings, the project is the most significant MICE-focused development to be unveiled in South India in recent years. It brings together, on a single 14.2-acre campus, a performing arts space with a proposed seating capacity of 2,500, luxury hotel inventory across two globally recognised brands, premium offices, and curated food and beverage experiences.
The hospitality component is planned to feature the Marriott Marquis brand — purpose-built for convention-scale events — and the St. Regis, an ultra-luxury flag that brings internationally consistent service standards to the Bengaluru market. With an initial target of over 350 keys across both brands, the Hub will give event organisers, corporate delegations, and individual business travellers a rare combination: the convention floor and the hotel room share the same address, eliminating the friction of inter-city transfers that has historically limited Bengaluru's ability to attract large global conventions.
Architecture for the campus has been commissioned from Kohn Pedersen Fox (KPF), the London-based firm whose portfolio spans some of the most recognised mixed-use towers and civic institutions across Asia, Europe, and North America. KPF's design draws from Bengaluru's dual identity as a garden city and a centre for technology and innovation. A large architectural canopy threads across the public realm, serving three simultaneous functions: supporting solar power generation, enabling rainwater harvesting, and providing thermal comfort across open-air gathering spaces. Sustainability is structural here, not decorative.
Prestige Group brings nearly four decades of institutional knowledge to this project. Founded in Bengaluru in 1986 by Razack Sattar, the group has since delivered 316 projects spanning 212 million sqft, with a current pipeline of 135 projects across 227 million sqft in cities including Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Chennai, Kochi, and Delhi-NCR. The group's hospitality experience encompasses owned and operated hotels and resorts — including the JW Marriott Bengaluru Prestige Golfshire Resort & Spa on the northern edge of the city — giving the Prestige–Marriott relationship a tested operational foundation. The Rs 1,800 crore construction investment confirmed for this project reflects the group's commitment to recurring-income assets at institutional scale.
Construction is scheduled to commence by early 2027, with the development expected to become operational by 2031. The Prestige Convention & Hospitality Hub represents a specific infrastructure answer to a specific city need: Bengaluru, already India's technology capital, has long required a convention destination calibrated to the scale and frequency of international business events its corporate ecosystem generates. This campus is that answer — built at the airport, designed by a global firm, and backed by a developer with the track record to see it through.

Bengaluru Airport City, Devanahalli, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560300 · Bengaluru Airport City · Bangalore
Bengaluru Airport City sits on a 400-acre precinct within the larger 4,000-acre Kempegowda International Airport concession zone in Devanahalli, approximately 35 km north of MG Road on NH 44. This is the fastest-growing business corridor in Karnataka, with BACL — the wholly owned development arm of Bangalore International Airport Limited — master-planning the area as a mixed-use urban destination incorporating corporate parks, technology hubs, a medical district, a knowledge park, hospitality, a central park, and a concert arena. The corridor is served directly by NH 44, the Bengaluru–Hyderabad Highway, placing the entire precinct within a single interchange of the national grid.
Within this master plan, Prestige Convention & Hospitality Hub occupies a 14.2-acre parcel that places it at the physical heart of the emerging Airport City ecosystem. Delegates arriving at Terminal 1 or Terminal 2 of Kempegowda International Airport — which handled over 44 million passengers in the year ending March 2026 — step into the convention campus without navigating the city. For corporations headquartered in the adjacent Devanahalli Business Park IT corridors, the Hub functions as an immediate extension of their campus. Nandi Hills, the Aerospace Park, and the proposed Financial City cluster in Devanahalli collectively underpin the long-term economic gravity of this address.

The Namma Metro line extending to Kempegowda International Airport is under construction, set to place Bengaluru Airport City on a direct rapid-transit corridor linking the campus to central Bengaluru and the broader metro network.
Terminal 2 at Kempegowda International Airport has been operationalised, significantly expanding the airport's capacity and international flight connectivity, directly increasing passenger and delegate throughput for the Airport City precinct.
A multibillion-dollar IT Investment Region anchored by two dedicated IT parks across nearly 400 acres adjoining the airport is progressively becoming operational, creating a large captive corporate population within walking distance of the Hub.
An Aerospace Park and a Rs 10 billion Financial City cluster are being developed in Devanahalli, diversifying the economic base of the corridor beyond IT and reinforcing long-term demand for convention and hospitality infrastructure at Airport City.
Ongoing road widening and signal-free corridor projects on NH 44 between Hebbal and the airport progressively reduce travel time between central Bengaluru and Airport City, improving accessibility for delegates and daily visitors to the Hub.
Positioned directly within the Bengaluru Airport City precinct — adjacent to KIA Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 — the Hub is the only convention destination in South India where international delegates land and arrive at their event venue without leaving the airport campus boundary.
The Kohn Pedersen Fox masterplan delivers an architectural canopy that simultaneously generates solar power, harvests rainwater, and regulates thermal comfort across open spaces — integrating sustainability at the structural level rather than as a post-design certification exercise.
With over 350 hotel keys planned across both the convention-focused Marriott Marquis and the ultra-luxury St. Regis, the Hub delivers two distinct hotel experiences — large-group convention accommodation and individually curated luxury stays — on a single 14.2-acre campus.
Prestige Group, founded in Bengaluru in 1986 and having delivered 316 projects covering 212 million sqft as of March 2026, brings both the financial commitment and the operational depth to deliver a project of this complexity on a confirmed timeline of 2027–2031.
A 2,500-seat performing arts space sits within the same campus as the convention and exhibition centre, enabling the Hub to host cultural festivals, award ceremonies, and entertainment events alongside corporate conferences — creating a full-year programming calendar rather than a single-use venue.
Kempegowda International Airport handled over 44 million passengers in the year ending March 2026, with international passenger growth at 23.9% year-on-year. The Airport City corridor, backed by a 400-acre BACL master plan that also includes a medical district, tech hubs, and a knowledge park, is structurally positioned to grow alongside India's aviation expansion.
