PRESTIGE BENGALURU AIRPORT CITY is an upcoming integrated convention and mixed-use destination from Prestige Group and Bengaluru Airport City Limited. Planned across 14.2 acres, it brings business, hospitality, culture and visitor experiences together within the airport precinct. Its announced development area is approximately 1.5 million sq ft.
The destination is planned to serve delegates, travellers, businesses and audiences through a convention and exhibition centre, hotels, offices, retail and dining. A performing arts venue adds a cultural dimension to the mix. Landscaped public spaces, plazas and terrace seating are planned as places to pause between events and meetings.
Kohn Pedersen Fox is the architect and masterplan designer. The design brief draws on Bengaluru’s garden-city character and its standing as a technology centre, translating those identities into an airport-city setting. A central canopy is designed to support solar generation, rainwater harvesting and outdoor noise mitigation.
The airport location connects the development to NH-44 and places it near the Trumpet Interchange, approximately 5 km away. Construction is planned to begin in early 2027, with operations targeted for the first quarter of 2031. The project is part of a wider airport-city district planned for transit-oriented development.
Prestige Group brings a Bengaluru-founded, multi-sector development platform to the partnership with BACL. Discover a destination conceived for business gatherings, hospitality and culture at the airport gateway.
